Join us on a visit to the Eden Project as they host the 2020 World Pasty Championships. As the Eden Project is based in Cornwall, the pasty world celebrate the traditional Cornish pasty recipe, as well as some more unusual varieties. From the Americas to Australia, pasties derived from recipes passed down by Cornish emigrants over centuries are eaten and enjoyed by many millions of people. The Championships are also a fantastic opportunity for a good old Cornish knees-up, with pasties galore and entertainment from local bands and comedians.
As well as the pasty celebrations there are also the usual highlights that the Eden Project has to offer including the massive Biomes, housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants, exhibitions and stories, which serve as a backdrop to the striking contemporary gardens.
